I should be happy.
I am happy. Why shouldn't I be?
Except I am not.
For you see, the human always wants what he doesn't have.
"This photo of a bee on a flower looks good, but imagine how much better it would look through a Macro Lens!"
"Hey, this photo of the lakes near the Alps isn't half bad, but oh how much better it would look with a Polarizing filter"
"Damn, if only I had a wide angle lens I would be able to capture this spectacular vista properly!"
And the list goes on and on...
on and on...
and on...
I know I should be more focused on my technique rather than on the camera itself. Give a Point and Shoot camera to any good photographer and they should still be able to shoot great pictures. As has been said time and time over "its the photographer, not the camera"
So I guess I'd better start worrying about the truly important stuff such as angle, exposure, and perspective...
... or maybe start dealing drugs.
